GROWING A BUSINESS BUILT ON RELATIONSHIPS

Over 30 years ago, Jack Copsey laid the ground work for what would grow into a family business and much more than he imagined - JBC, Inc.

The early years began with operating a service station in Gering, Nebraska where he was able to stay in touch with his neighbors and friends.  In 1977, he expanded by adding a Conoco Distributorship in order to serve local farmers and Conoco brand dealers in the area with fuel and lubricants.  1980, the company was excited to open the VERY FIRST card operated fueling facility within 100 miles of Scottsbluff, NE.  Giving customers a convenience they hadn't really thought possible until that point.

In 1985 Jack cotinued to grow the business when he bought his first semi-truck and tanker to start hauling fuel.  Through out the late 1980s the company operated a division offering sale, installation and repair of service station pumps and tanks.  They were involved in the ownersip and operation of several convenience stores over the years.

In 1987 the reorganized as JBC, Inc and Jack's son Brian joined the JBC, Inc in 1989.

Brian has continued to work with and help guide the company to what it has become today.  With drivers across the country they are equipped to haul a variety of liquid petroleum products as well as propane, ethanol, crude oil, naptha and liquid feeds. And currently pick up in 6 different states.
