In January 1975, Jack and Monty Copsey, brothers, formed a partnership to operate two Conoco branded service stations, Monty's Conoco and Copsey Conoco. The company changed, grew and expanded, and in 1980 we had the first unattended, card-operated, gas station within 200 miles of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. In 1985 we purchased a semi-truck and tanker-trailer and began hauling our own fuel. In the fall of 1989, Brian Copsey joined the company as the supervisor of the petroleum equipment installation and repair. Brian is currently vice-president of JBC, Inc.
Today, JBC, Inc. has grown to provide fuel, transportation and fuel management services using our own trucks and drivers, with dealers up to a 200 mile radius in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. We now have several card-operated fueling sites and their development continues to be an integral part of our business plan.
